For my thirteenth birthday, I wanted to do something special, something not many people consider doing and which could be done easily during this pandemic time. My mom told me about Cope with Cancer which helps people cope with hair loss during cancer treatment and that they make wigs for them. I was very excited as I decided to cut and donate it towards making a great difference for someone. My hair had always been receiving compliments and became very special and precious to me. So it came as a shock to my family members and friends that I had cut my hair so short after having grown it for the last couple of years. As for me, it gave a deep sense of gratitude to God for using me to bring a smile on someone somewhere. I hope to do it again and again as much as possible.
