Hello, My name is Avantika Naidu from Mumbai, Maharashtra. I’m a Clinical Psychologist. I have been working in Mental Health for the last 5 years. Cancer patients go through Anxiety, Emotional distress, and depression while undergoing treatment due to the changes they go through. Losing their hair due to chemotherapy triggers feelings of hopelessness and depression. Buying hair wigs can be really expensive which is not possible with the preexisting medical expenses. Getting hair wigs is like getting a gift of confidence and hope for them. I’m really happy I could contribute to better Mental health for a cancer patient. #Strandsofhope
